I have a wide range of experience from early years through to end of life. Current work includes adopted, fostered and in-care children and their families working through trauma, as well as bereavement therapy in a palliative setting. My other main area of specialism is with children with learning disabilities ranging from PMLD, autism and mixed needs; verbal and non-verbal. My approach is flexible to meet the needs of the supervisee, and draws on my psychotherapy background, as well as my creative arts supervisor training.

My specialist areas are grief, loss and trauma, especially childhood sexual abuse, bereavement & pre-bereavement. I offer group and individual supervision, in person and online. My current supervises work in Private Practice, in the NHS, and in a Charity that helps patients and their families on their Cancer journey. A specific area of interest is the impact of Silent Group Sand Tray Experience on highly traumatised groups; how this centralised community provision could unify local MH resources for children and adolescents.

I am a registered Dramatherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and an approved CAST trained clinical supervisor (Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, 2023). In addition, I am a certified Eye Movement Desensitisation and Re-processing (EMDR) (working towards full accreditation) and Neuro Affective Relational Model (NARM) trauma therapist. I have spent most of my career working in forensic and community mental health settings with the NHS as well as in private practice. I work with clients in areas including trauma, severe mental disorders, personality difficulties, violent behaviour and self-harm.

I have worked full time in London as a Dramatherapist in a variety of settings including inpatient adult NHS community and psychiatric wards (acute and intensive care), an NHS community CAMHS Drama group, primary schools and my private supervision and therapy practice.
